Autorun Killer 2.1 Full

A tool that can delete the autorun.inf folder with one click and rid you of any annoyance or problem during a disc or flash drive load

The AutoRun or AutoPlay features are added to Windows with the purpose to help users install applications in an easier way.

The files are used by the operating system to launch the setup procedure of an app, as well as other functions that the application supports. This way, you don’t have to look inside the contents of the CD/DVD or application folder to find it’s setup executable.

Autorun Killer is a lightweight and easy-to-use tool that enables you to disable the AutoRun feature. Without the application you are normally not permitted due to ownership rights over the folder.

It comes in handy when you deal with large numbers of CDs, DVDs and flash drives that contain the autorun folder and serve no other purpose than to annoy you. Moreover, each time an autorun is initiated, it can take quite a toll on your system’s resources and if the autorun folder or the disc is damaged, your system might freeze up.

Autorun Killer aims to prevent such events by deleting the Autorun.inf folder. To remove it, all you have to do is select the drive where the folder is located and click the delete button. The application does the rest. It’s a simple and effective solution.

Still, using this tool can have its disadvantages. Deleting the INI folder also removes the autorun feature of that disc so you need to make sure that the consequences are not going to affect you on the long run.

In conclusion, Autorun Killer is a practical solution for those who need to remove the autorun folder from discs and drives but needs to be used with care.
